Tracy is originally from Port Townsend, Washington. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with a Minor in Psychology from Washington State University in 2009, graduating Cum Laude. After beginning her nursing career as an ER nurse in Spokane, she then pursued her passion and obtained her next job on the Family Maternity Center at Holy Family Hospital. Although loving being a labor & delivery nurse, Tracy always had a desire to form longer-lasting relationships with her patients, both throughout pregnancy and in the promotion of women’s health across the lifespan. She therefore completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Washington State University in 2013 within the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She did the majority of her internship at North Spokane Women’s Health, where she then had the opportunity to join the practice and begin her career as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in OBGYN.
Tracy completed her first medical mission trip to Guatemala in 2013 and is eager to find more opportunities for this. She is also interested in cancer research and specifically, counseling women on both testing and treatment options available for those with genetic mutations that may pre-dispose women to higher risks of breast and ovarian cancers.
Tracy’s interests include traveling and outdoor activities such as skiing, running, biking, hiking, and camping. She loves football season and always roots for the WSU Cougars, as well as the Seahawks! She is also trained as a white-water rafting guide and enjoys going on long rafting trips with friends every summer.
